LARC Indoor Rowing Courses


A 5 week BEGINNER Indoor Rowing course

This course is available to non members.

1 hour a week for 5 weeks


Designed to advise and prepare all participants in the safe and efficient use of the Concept 2 Indoor Rower, as part of their training regime for all types of rowing.

  • Indoor Rowing Safety

  • Correct set up

  • Learn the correct sequencing technique

  • PM 5 user instructions; stroke rate, force curve, split intensity, watt power

  • Intro to Interval and UT2 Training

  • Intro to basics S & C/ Flexibility to support this training.

    Those who have completed their Try Indoor Row or Beginner Course are eligible to book onto Intermediate courses (see below).

Intermediate Indoor Rowing Course

This course is available to non members.

1 hour a week for 5 weeks

It follows on from the Beginner Course and is designed to develop further understanding of UT2 and Interval type training on the Concept 2 Indoor Rower.

The British Indoor Rowing Championships are December 5 and 6 2025 and this could be the perfect goal.

Rowers will expect to cover training plans for:

  • 250m

  • 500m

  • 2km

  • 5km

  • 10km+
